Philosophical Musings of Ontological Twilights
Am I Theseus’s ship,
built by loss and regrets
a neuron at a time?
Am I but a bat,
chasing electromagnetic patterns
hidden in an endless thinking vat?
Am I but a heart that longs,
to hold another in my stories,
but where do I fit among quantum seas?
Am I but the dead,
and graves filled with riddles instead?
Am I but the tragic romantic
writing letters to Andromeda’s heart
stuck forever in Zeno’s paradox with every step?
Is time but memory waiting to collide with itself?
I wonder, when Meno’s paradox will break me,
I wonder, when what it means to rebel against myself
To exist in impermanence,
will you love me until our time runs out
To live in contradiction,
will you sing to me, my twilight truths?
as I sit and listen, conceiving a thousand I’s
and I know in time,
the question begets the idea
the idea begets the action
the action creates me.
And through the forest of ambiguity
I do know one truth,
that your laugh is pure reasoning.
O! how the worlds sing
dancing within hyperspace
love, waiting to break free
From thought, from the page,
from me. I am Theseus’s ship,
built through dreams
and eternal redemption
