Aureole Heartbeats
A poem about how love is nature’s synesthesia

In the maelstrom of birthing spring,
I feel your smile in Wisteria breeze
Two minds fuse, dance, and tease
Supernovaic creation,
In a primordial release
Dancing upon stages,
Manifolds that lead
Your photisms spreading,
Alluring roots outward reach
Tactile metaphors,
As existential keys
Soothing as Leche’s
Inexorable amnesiac seas
Memoryless we drift in belief
that tomorrow’s green
Will never cease
And in that meadow,
I envision vortex fragrance
A-sharp timbre of nectar sages
Inside of pictures twirling free
I ponder, does the moon disguise
Truths in shadows to appease?
I wonder if winter buries
Us in colorless strawberry days
Will sunbeams enthrall you
In magical polymodal tastes?
As illusions ensue essence
Pearl smooth complexion
And euphonious kisses
I wonder,
What reality is
Upon those lips
Of our unwritten pages?
